I recently started bringing my 20 year old cat (and love of my life), Patches, here when I moved to the area. The staff has been overwhelmingly accommodating in helping me when I'm having trouble with her new fluid treatments and answering my millions of questions I have about my cat. We loved this clinic until it was bought out by a big chain clinic awhile back. The prices are ridiculous and the doctors (2 that I have seen) made me feel uncomfortable. The receptionist seems sweet, but we are taking our pet elsewhere. Read Less

My husband and I were sad to hear that Dr. Zaeske sold his practice, because we loved him, his excellent bedside manner, and his expertise. After reading mixed Google reviews about the changes at the clinic, I was leery of taking my dog in for his annual vaccines & exam. I was considering the possibility that I'd have to take him elsewhere in the future. I was pleasantly surprised when I took him in today. I arrived a couple minutes early for his appointment, and they got us in right away. Staff were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Eddie, my dog, seemed comfortable and was not nervous around staff. Dr. Williams took her time in explaining procedures & prices and the reasons for the cost increases where applicable. I'm grateful to have this clinic in my neighborhood, and I'm pleased to feel comfortable with continuing Eddie's care so close to home. Read Less

Took my dog Reggie in for his check up and vaccines and was so happy to see all the changes to the clinic. The new furniture and fresh coat of paint has really brightened up the waiting room and I appreciated the hot coffee available on such a cold day to help warm up while I waited for my appointment. Everyone was so nice and the new female doctor was so good with Reggie and made me feel very comfortable. The exam rooms were very clean and the clinic as a whole smelled really good, it was amazing that they have animals going in and out all day. I will miss Dr. Z but I am very happy with all the positive changes the new owners have made and look forward to coming back to the clinic year after year. It appears since this clinic is under new management and Dr. Z is not around as much, it has went extremely downhill. The only positive aspect is that the ladies (vet techs and front desk) who work there are very nice. Unfortunately that does not compensate for the negatives. Every single appointment I have been to in the last 3 months has been late. The office seems unorganized and they misplaced my new pets file. The last straw was my pets annual visit last night, where I called ahead to make sure they were on time with appointments and ended up waiting an additional 1/2 hour. I understand emergencies and unexpected animals coming in, but this has been a pattern. To add insult to injury, the visit for my pets annual vaccines cost me $245.00 (used to be about $130.00). When I commented on this I was told "they used to charge an exam fee and we don't do that anymore". Great, but that doesn't matter when you are charging me $60.00 for an unnecessary heart worm test and upped all of the vaccination charges. It is so unfortunate because it was such a great place close to home, but I will be taking my business and pets elsewhere. Read Less

I will only take my babies to Dr. Ben. When my previous cat Tinker was really sick, he was the only vet that figured she was in heart failure while other vets said it was allergies. Dr. Ben was so great with her (and me) up to the day we had to say good bye to her. :-( Now I have two cats, Jack and Rex and Dr. Ben is our go to guy for any health issues! Read Less

The best vet care in Tosa and the western part of Milwaukee. Works with rescue groups . Kurt knows his trade and always explains what wrong and let's you know what options you have. He does not try to sell you things that you don't need. We have been going there for years and would never go any where else. He is also priced lower then other vets in the area. Probably all of Milwaukee county . I know this because I call around and shop around on just about anything I pay cash for. Yes I a a cheap SOB. With Kurt I don't even check anymore . I trust Dr.Z with my cats! Both my cats have had various issues and complications and he has proven to have an amazing amount of knowledge and love for animals. I Love the fact that his prices are great, he is direct and upfront with you about the animal and his hours are flexible. I drive quite a distance to get to him, but he is worth it!!! Read Less

The BEST Dr Kurt is the only DR I trust with my Elmo and Molly they love him there is nothing he can't  do for your pet or pets In Fact DR Kurt is the VET THAT told us why are you wasting all your money and trying to get Urine from Molly to bring in and he told us he never needs stool samples as that is a way to charge more WE thought Molly was sick i called he said bring her right in i asked him if he needed samples he laughed just bring her in we got there in 15mins he said there is nothing wrong with this DOG I WAS so happy i ran out to get home i HAD TO Call him when we got home i forgot to pay him he told me not to worry that i could pay him the next time we Came in So if you want a VET THAT Cares about your pets this is the GO TO GUY He is the MAN Read Less

Dr. Kurt is super with the animals. He has a great sense of humor and really listens to what his patients (and owners) want. He is gentle and our dogs have no idea that their blood has been drawn. His prices are reasonable. He has pretty good hours. I know others that go to Dr. Kurt, and they all really like him. Our three dogs don't mind going to the vet at Center For Animal Health. Read Less
