General Info
Mishicot Veterinary Clinic was opened in 1942 by Dr. Elery J Meyer. Dr. Allen L. Lande took over the clinic in 1978 and has been the owner and veterinarian until 2012. Dr. Michelle Rider purchased the clinic from Dr. Lande in 2012 and is the current owner. The clinic originally serviced dairy farms in the area, with small animal work being a small part of the practice. Over the years, and especially in the last 10 years, the practice has become predominately small animal patients. Current species seen are dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, rabbits, ferrets, and other mammalian pocket pets. House calls made by arrangement. Dr. Lande retired in April of 2013. Dr. Rider is accepting new patients, and has special interests in oncology, dentistry, orthopedics, and pain management. We consult with and refer cases to specialists as needed to provide every option for the most advanced pet care.

Will not be back, a visit that should have been 15 min 20 min at most, ended up waiting in the room for an hour! Also gave my dog a shot that I told them had been given the day prior. Also, did not answer my questions. Technicians did not write down information so we had to do it twice. No communication between the initial person I met, the next tech, then the vet, and the receptionist. Very poor experience! I will be going back to my original vet thays 1.5 hrs away to receive better service!

I took my chihuahua here, he wasn't eating, come to find out he must have been bitten by a tick, gravely ill, the doctors did everything they could, quick diagnosis, even a tiny feeding tube. He did die. But they were wonderful, it was too late. A note to every pet owner; the test used for heart worm, also tests for tick diseases. GET IT DONE ! Ticks kill. It's been almost four months, Harley was only four years old, I'm still absolutely heart broken, he was so special, a real little lover of all! Thank you all! God bless.

We were just visiting in your area from Montana when our little guy's illnesses sped up and we knew it was time....My hubby and granddaughter were very impressed with the obvious love of animals from all of your staff. She showed so much compassion, not only for our senior cat today, but also for us as tearful owners having to make the difficult decision for putting our cat to sleep. Very upset took our dog in letting the vet know that she probably got into something because she is sick and not eating for 2 days. Which has happened in the past, after $480 in testing and she still...
Very upset took our dog in letting the vet know that she probably got into something because she is sick and not eating for 2 days. Which has happened in the past, after $480 in testing and she still couldn't find the problem she suggested $1000-$2500 in surgery for her to look around. That night we called another vet who saw her after hours and gave her a $15 dollar shot of antibiotics and put her on rice and boiled hamburger The dog is doing great. Be careful when you go here what could of costed me $3000 total was fixed with a $15 dollar shot. To bad I'm out the $480 for her to find nothing!

Dr. Rider has assembled a great team of professionals to provide skilled, compassionate veterinary care. We are particularly impressed with Dr. Goble, who has been working in concert with the specialists at the University of Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital to treat our dog. Mishicot Veterinary Clinic has proven to be indispensable in screening, follow up testing, routine and urgent care, and answering a host of questions. Without hesitancy, I would recommend this clinic -- and the services of Dr. Goble and Dr. Rider -- to a friend.

I took my chihuahua here, he wasn't eating, come to find out he must have been bitten by a tick, gravely ill, the doctors did everything they could, quick diagnosis, even a tiny feeding tube. He did die. But they were wonderful, it was too late. A note to every pet owner; the test used for heart worm, also tests for tick diseases. GET IT DONE ! Ticks kill. We have 5 pets and Mishicot vet has always taken very good care of them. Our cat was declawed and had gotten an infected toe, they took care of her at no charge and always kept me updated with her condition! I would recommend them to anyone that wants the best care for their animals
