Monona, Wisconsin
General Info
Citywide Pet Clinic is renowned for its reliable and comprehensive services targeted at pet owners. Citywide Pet Clinic, located in Monona to serve homes across Wisconsin, observes that pets communicate through their behavior language. This is where they interpret the tail position, stillness, sound, and pacing. The first level does not involve any direct physical contact, as it is purely observational. Staff observe micro-behaviors like eye contact, breathing in response to voices, and movements toward or away from motion. Care then unfolds in parts. The evaluation of a pet’s skin coat and joints is based on its anchoring or leaning stiffening movements. Trust signals initiate the inquiry into the dental structure, abdomen, and heart pattern. Besides, owners describe the context of their daily lives and any new sounds that started to emerge in their environment or when events such as walks and feedings began. Citywide Pet Clinic offers a wide range of services, including “puppy”/“kitten” examinations with diagnostic and energy balance strategy planning as well as oral health and senior joint monitoring with disease-specific mapping. The timeframes will depend on the behavior. Certain appointments flow very quickly when consent cues are noticed. Phases stretch slowly for others, which makes it possible to achieve an ideal form. Pets needing recalibration will have access to quiet areas and pause zones. Post-visit care activities relate to household activities. Look at sleep patterns, determine how to reintroduce routines and check for silent signals such as family withdrawal, appetite loss or space guarding. It advises the owners to keep temporal data together with symptom records. At what hour does the restlessness show up? What time of the day do hesitation frequencies peak? Citywide Pet Clinic aids families in Monona and wider Wisconsin areas, understanding that behavior is the language pets use every day, not just in emergencies. The practice provides various services such as Senior Pet Care, Oncology, Pain Management, Boarding, and Surgery. These are the services that help a pet as it journeys from one life stage to another. I have to say, this place has taken a total turn for the BEST!! I live close by, but I used to take my animals strictly to a certain veterinary clinic all the way on the very far West Side of Madison just due to a few reasons (one being my cat lived his entire short life with chronic illness, and started off at this other clinic, so I took my dog there as well...), unfortunately due to the illness my cat had and his struggles for 8yrs turning into resistance to medication & treatments I had to put him down last June (2015). So since my dog has a chronic illness as well, but not nearly severe as my kitty, I decided I would be okay with finding a "closer to home" and less expensive veterinary clinic. I had driven past this clinic for years, and was even advised to not go there when I first contemplated it in 2008... It was dingy, dirty, and severely outdated!! But... Since I kept driving past and saw that they remodeled, I decided to step foot in there again to check it out for myself once more; WOW!! Literally changed from outdated, dingy, scary office to an AMAZING clinic!! I have to give them 5-stars, because that's the highest rating Google allows; but I would love to give them 10 stars!! Here's why: 1) Super kind, compassionate, knowledgeable staff members; starting the second you walk through the door, reception staff is on top of everything, vet techs are also willing to help with things such as questions/concerns, and the new Veterinarians are great!! 2) Even though I started off seeing a specific vet there at the clinic who has cut their hours to basically "emergency only" type stuff, I was very VERY nervous being recommended to see a newer vet mainly because my dog is special needs and has very high stress & anxiety during vet visits; again I was totally amazed! The vet I see was very careful to make sure my dog was completely comfortable and gave him the "space" needed when necessary. 3) I've been literally in panic mode numerous times about my dog; lumps, bumps, shots, medications... Every single time and every single staff member is genuinely nice and compassionate towards me, even when I can't get it together, they talk me through it all... It's soooo refreshing to have staff that actually cares about the fur-baby's parent and not just while checking out at the counter with their pocketbook in hand!! AND LASTLY.... 4) PRICE! PRICE!! PRICE!!!! Their prices are soooo very low compared to clinics around Madison, yes I know, "go right outside city limits and you'll find low prices for vet care!!", but what comes along with low price vet care outside city limits sometimes comes with low knowledge staff, techs, and unfortunately even sometimes veterinarians. So this is a HUGE plus for me!! The only thing I don't really care for is that the clinic seems to be a Christian based company now, and being the non-faith person I am somewhat makes me wonder how much of my money I spend there yearly goes towards a church or other Christian based "non-profits"; nothing at all against churches and people who choose religion, but I've watched my own family donate large sums of money to churches only for the church to close its doors with no prior notice to its church goers and high paying supporters. Overall though I am highly amazed over and over again with CityWide Pet Clinic!! They truly do the best they can, and are willing to go above and beyond for their furry/non-furry patients & their parents (people parents, haha!) So do I recommend them? Yes, 127%!!! Read Less

Monona Wisconsin 53716
Pet owners value the team's expertise and communication style, as well as their ability to clearly explain medical decisions. The team wants to create long-lasting bonds with pet owners as they use the same staff for both senior pet care and other urgent medical emergencies.
