Loving Care can sometimes deliver MIRACLES!!! Our dog Jingles suffered a traumatic injury last fall at a local groomer resulting in a broken femur. With the location of the break the options were amputation or an extremely expensive operation by a specialist to put a plate and pins in. In discussing all options for a course of treatment we decided to do a more cost effective approach which included multiple custom casts and biweekly visits with the friendly staff. If you are looking for a good vet that will love and cherish your pets, this is the place for your little family member.We came to them when we found out our 11 year old Pug, Pudgie, had a oral tumor. They guided us through everything. They were all so sweet, kind and caring. They adored our girl. They made up nick names for Pudgie, like Pudgmiester, and Pugalot. And when we came to pick her up from different procedures they would say "Pudgie's mom is here!" and that really meant a lot to me. You can really tell that they are thinking about your pet's care first. You could tell that it is NOT all about the money to them. We had Dr. Zellmer take care of our pup and she is phenomenal. She always gave us straightforward advice and put it all in perspective for us. And she was always honest with us. You can really tell how much she loves her job and animals. Laurie and another staff member, I think her name is Rae, were so kind and compassionate. I am forever grateful for their hugs and words of encouragement. I am not sure I could have made it through my dog's battle with cancer without them.Even though It seemed like every visit was bad news for Pudgie, we always felt like we were in good hands. Right up to the very end on the day we had to say goodbye to our little pug, Oconomowoc Animal Hospital's Staff were right there with us to help us get through it. We have our lovable little dog Pearl who was rescued long ago and is close to 14. Late spring and summer she was diagnosed with kidney & liver problems. She was seriously ill. I got my first pet in 1993, I was 10 years old. Domino was my first cat and we brought him to Oconomowoc Animal Hospital his whole life. When he passed away, they were very caring and nice. When I got married, we moved but still come to Oconomowoc Animal Hospital with our 2 cats for the excellent care the vets give them. SO GREAT!!!! i brought in my cat who was loosing all his fur. he isn't a big fan of the vet but Stacy and Dr. Katrin did such a good job with him! We ended up doing lots of annual tests and stuff since we were there. They did a great job of explaining what my cat needed and why. Best part.. the bill was totally reasonable!!
