Had a cat emergency this week, but because the docs had just gotten out of surgery, they weren't going to be able to get me in for about an hour. Not knowing if I had an hour, I was given the number for a nearby ER where my guy was treated. The following day, got a call from Dr. Long to see how he was doing and if I needed anything. I'm so impressed by this. I'm a new customer, and she's only seen my 2 furballs once. But she still took the time to check in. Had it not been urgent, I would have taken my cat to Prairie Side, but they were helpful in getting him in somewhere, and to follow up just really said a lot to me about how they treat the animals and the humans they serve. Also had a follow up call the day after both went in for routine care. Very, very appreciative and very, very impressed. That's first class care right there.

Amazing vet! My baby just had surgery on his ACL still recovering at this point but they did a great job so far. Check up after surgery are free. They really care about your fur baby's! Love them!

Brought our dog in for a dental cleaning , told them our limit was $600 never knew they would pull multiple teeth out and cost us over $1000 . On top of that the vet told us she broke a tooth and the ...
Brought our dog in for a dental cleaning , told them our limit was $600 never knew they would pull multiple teeth out and cost us over $1000 . On top of that the vet told us she broke a tooth and the root is still inside his gum. His head was also very swollen on top they tried telling me he he didn't leave there with it but yet my kids are the one who pointed it out. The other vet said he will take the root out that is still inside. Took him back they did xray under anaesthesia and told us nothing needs to be takin out!
Over all we are don't with this place and will never return. The one lady that works there is rude also and they also lied to us .

I’ve been going there for year and have always been happy with everyone that worked. While away visiting family my dog that I have had for 18 started holding his head sideways and stumbling. I call the day after New Years and they going him right away. The gave me medication to try and help. We discussed if it didn’t work than he more than like had a tumor in his brain when I called back in two weeks saying that he was not better they got him in right away. I had known at that point it was time to put my baby down. They were caring and very sensitive about the whole process. They were very well priced and let me be with him when they put him to sleep and gave me as much time as I needed after and I got him back in a week. When I get another dog I will for sure be going back to them!!!!

I am a single mom trying to save my pet and they want to do all this nonsense that I can't afford. When I talked to Melanie about options on the phone was extremely rude to me. I will defiantly be going to North shore for a 2nd opinion.

They sent her to a place 3 miles out of town. I thought people that work at vet clinic's love animals apparently they didn't love animals that day.

The tech came in with two estimates for what needed to be done. She gave me time, then got the cat, took her to another area and got her all fixed up - no problem's!!!

I get there in line and the lady at the desk tells me to wait so she can help someone else check out and she would help me. No she got on the phone and was on for a while never said nothing to me. Finally someone came out from the back and handed me a high bill not even close to what i was told. STAY CLEAR FROM THIS PLACE. UNPROFESSIONAL AND EXTRA CHARGES WITHOUT NOTICE..LOL EXTRA LAB WORK TOO. NOT HAPPY AT ALL.

My vet in is a nearby town but Crossraods carry diabetic food for my cat. (Specialty veterinarian food can ONLY be bought from a vet) However, their prices are high, the "ladies" in the office are not friendly. Their markups on pet food are high compared to other vets in the area. My friend used to take her cat there only to find out Dr. Guertz missed clues that the cat was suffering and never diagnosed the problem. A quick once over and vaccinations, now pay your bill. She has since changed vets and her cat is doing great. My vet has never been rough even with several of my antisocial animals. If your pet is like family I'd make darn sure you are comfortable with their care.

Had a cat emergency this week, but because the docs had just gotten out of surgery, they weren't going to be able to get me in for about an hour. Not knowing if I had an hour, I was given the number for a nearby ER where my guy was treated. The following day, got a call from Dr. Long to see how he was doing and if I needed anything. I'm so impressed by this. I'm a new customer, and she's only seen my 2 furballs once. But she still took the time to check in. Had it not been urgent, I would have taken my cat to Prairie Side, but they were helpful in getting him in somewhere, and to follow up just really said a lot to me about how they treat the animals and the humans they serve. Also had a follow up call the day after both went in for routine care. Very, very appreciative and very, very impressed. That's first class care right there.

They go us in fast, service was good there but I think its all about the money. They don't truly care about the animals. My friend used to take her cat there only to find out Dr. Guertz missed clues that the cat was suffering and never diagnosed the problem. A quick once over and vaccinations, now pay your bill. She has since changed vets and her cat is doing great. My vet has never been rough even with several of my antisocial animals. If your pet is like family I'd make darn sure you are comfortable with their care.
