My two rabbits had an appointment to get sexed and have their nails trimmed. They have an exotic pets doctor here, but they weren't in the day of my appointment. Despite this, they did a great job sexing my rabbits and trimming their nails. They made sure to update the information for both rabbits to accurately reflect their sexes in documentation. I wish there was more pamphlets and information for rabbits, birds, and a couple other common exotic pets- everything there was for cats and dogs. Read Less

They are super nice and very knowledgeable. Sparky (our dog) has a heart condition and it was explained very well what is happening to him and how we can monitor it's progress. I like when the vet talks to us about our animals like they are people. We haven't any complaints here. Read Less

Let me just start this off by saying the vet here is absolutely amazing. I would reccomened this place 100% if you are looking for a place to put your baby to rest. I took my dog here with my dad to put our dog that we had since I was a little girl down. Obviously the experience was horrible, but the staff is extremely kind and they made sure our dog was comfortable. The only reason I'm giving this 1 star is because months later, and my family having bad financial issues, they are calling my phone asking for payments. Which is completely understandable. It's the fact that this one lady had such a horrible attitude about a situation that is still sensitive to me and my family. The lady's name was Liz. I hate that I gave to give such an amazing place such a low rating, but she ruined it for the entire place. I won't get into details about what she said but just a heads up, this woman sounds like she has issues because her attitude was unnecessary and there was no excuse for it. I'm thrilled to have found these guys! They are so compassionate and dedicated to their work! I adopted a retired puppy mill dog who is a little skittish and scared of new surroundings and everyone in the clinic was so gentle with her! Dr. Jens is the absolute best vet I have ever met, and I have owned animals all my life and met many vets. He is the first vet I met that actually sat on the floor with dogs small or big, making my dogs and myself more at ease with anything going on, he doesn't push, but will suggest and tell you why, explaining in standard animal owner terms, not vet medicine terms. 5 years ago my pitbull needed her first ACL surgery but during pre-op visits, the vet we were seeing was really rude, so we went looking and found Dr. Jens, and have not looked back. In fact my dog needed her second ACL surgery recently and I didn't even think of looking around because I knew she was in great hands with a doctor who was very straight forward about any and all options. Besides loving Dr. Jens, all the vet techs are amazing and so helpful! They will see a dog once and typically remember exactly who they are the next time and that's a great feeling, my dogs have loved any of them even if new. The one other vet I met during an ER visit was also very amazing and very comforting in stressful time. Read Less

Dr Mano at Racine Veterinary Hospital has been our dogs' doctor for 11 years. We have never met a more caring doctor in our lives. He stays late to make sure he calls you back and just called on a Sunday to give us blood test results. He is truly a veterinarian that not only cares about his patients, but the family as well. I have a 13 year old Miniature Schnauzer that has been diagnosed with advanced kidney disease. I did not have a regular vet in the area, so I decided to visit Racine Vet Hospital because it is close to my home. My dog and I were both treated with such kindness that I will never take my pets to another clinic. Oscar was seen by both Dr. Grogan and Dr. Emmrich, and they were so thorough and helpful.
