I have never seen nor heard of such a COLD HEARTED Vet.. Watched my lil dog Suffer until she took her last breath.. I WILL NEVER GET OVER THIS!!! had her to vet at 5 pm on a Wed, and my dog died at 6 the next morning..We we were there the day before I ASKED Stephanie Beinborn. If my dog was suffering or in any kind of pain. I left her know that our dog gave us 13 years of her Love, Loyalty, and just Happiness.. She didn't deserve to suffer at all.. She said I don't think she is in any kind of pain.. but she is feeling like crap.. She was very very sick... She gave me these large antibiotics and said to give her 2 when I got home.. I told them that she is not eating, and she was throwing up constanly.. I said there is no way she can take these. even asked if we could make them smaller, there answer was just jam them down her throat..If she throws them up just give her more!!!.. There answer was we could take her to Appleton and have her stay at a emergency facility over night, and we could bring her back to them the next day, and they would give her a Large Doze of Steroids, she didn't want to do that , but she would if she had too!!! UMMM no we did not want her so far away from us.. She would be so scared, and stressed.. Not that they were going to do anything anyway.. Well Sammy died at 6 in the morning.. and suffered ALL NIGHT until her last breathe. After a bunch of lies from tech, about Sammy being taken away to get creamated. I went down there today, which is 4 days later that we dropped her off to be picked up same day to get creamated, and brought her there ourselves,, SO MANY LIES!!! SUCH COLD HEARTED PEOPLE.. NO COMPASSION AT ALL!!! There is so much more to say.. All I can say is check vets out before bringing your pet for care!!! I am So Sick about all of this, and this will remain with me for the rest of my life!!!! Read Less

When I moved to Chilton five years ago we started going to High Cliff Veterinary Clinic because after a lot of research I determined they had 24/7 emergency services. When my large hound Belle tore her meniscus I called them first thing in the morning, she was in horrible pain and couldn't walk whatsoever. They told me to "drop her off and someone would look at her later in the day", that there was no one there to see her until late afternoon. To me this does not constitute "24/7 emergency service." She would have sat there for 8 hours or more in a kennel. A friend from work suggested Vet Associates, I called them and even though Belle wasn't a patient they saw and treated her immediately. Dr. Stephanie was awesome and that was all it took for me to permanently switch vets. I have been 100% thrilled with their true compassion and service. We have had several emergencies, having two dogs (including one on a Sunday evening) and have received immediate service. I am very choosy when it comes to my vet and I highly recommend Vet Associates!Read Less

We have been going to Reedsville Veterinary Associates just short of four years for all our animal's needs. On May 1st, 2015 I took my chocolate lab in to get spayed (at this time she was just under six months old). I paid a total of $259.13. When I picked her up and got her in the car she whimpered the entire ride home, and once she was home she just laid on the floor and whimpered for the rest of the day. I thought this was odd since we got our black lab spayed almost four years ago and had no complications. However, we did nothing just thinking she was sore. By the next day she seemed to be her old self. A week later however my Fiance had noticed two scabs on her side, her incision was looking a little infected so I set up a follow up appointment to have her incision looked at. While at her follow up (which the doctor just gave us antibiotics for the incision) I had mentioned the odd scabs on her side. The vet stated "We must have burned her, just keep an eye on it to make sure it heals okay and follow up again in a week." I was stunned and could not believe what I had heard. I took her home and gave the antibiotics and went to the follow up as instructed. At her next follow up the vet had told us that in time it would heal and you wouldn't be able to tell it had happened. I brushed it all off as I thought if you wouldn't be able to see it eventually all would be fine. Barkley is now nine months old and has three large scars on her side that she will have forever. I cannot tell you how many comments I get because the scars are so large. I am embarrassed and saddened that I could have let this happen to my "furbaby." When I took Barkley in to ask for a refund because of the severity of her marks they asked how much I would want back. Being reasonable (I am in no way cheap or was looking to get money off of a surgery that we have done with all of our animals) I said I would feel half a refund would be sufficient being that she was spayed and that part of the surgery had been successful. The technician that I spoke with said she would have to talk to all the partners and get back to me. Two days later I call a call from the technician stating the partners were willing to give me half back, BUT they would be deducting the antibiotics they gave me and her follow up appointment costs. I was BLOWN away. Now I am aware that if you get your pet spayed/neutered with this vet all follow ups and medications that may be needed are covered by the surgery as we had to have a follow up and get antibiotics with our black lab almost four years prior. The ending result was that Reedsville Veterinary Associates cut me a check for $50. To say that I am unhappy with the way this situation was handled is an understatement. They told me Barkley was the first large breed dog they had burned with their heated rice packs used to keep the animal warm while under Anastasia, but they had burned three other small breed dogs before her. I was devastated that they were negligent and could have prevented what happened to her. Such a sad situation because we really liked Dr. Stephanie and even Jesse the technician was friendly. The fact that they couldn't even give me half my costs back has spoken VOLUMES about this establishment and I will sadly be looking for another vet, as will be my other family members. Read Less

I am truly sad to say that our experience with Veterinary Associates was horrible. We brought our cat in to be put down after she had been sick and took a turn for the worse. It took one hour and several needle sticks before our furry baby took her last breath. When we shared our feelings with staff about our experience, they added insult to injury by giving excuses and offering no sympathy, saying things like "Well, it's the luck of the draw". We will be haunted by this memory forever.Read Less

Exceedingly overpriced! They will charge you for things you don't want or need. They'll also recommend things they'll charge you an arm and a leg for that you could purchase a LOT cheaper on Amazon (and get a LOT more of for the price). I'm thinking of their probiotics when I brought my dog in to be treated for worms. On another day, I called them to get the price for a spay, and I wound up being on the phone with the woman while she took ten minutes to talk about the separate prices of all the "mandatory" things they were going to charge me for during the procedure. If they're mandatory, then lump them into the price of the spay! There's no reason to separate it all out like that unless they're optional. Sadly, many clinics in the area do this very same thing, and I wish they'd stop it. When I want the final price, just give me that dollar amount! Stop telling me about every tool you're going to charge me for that you're using during the procedure. In the end, the spay cost was outrageous, and I wound up taking my pet into Appleton where I got the spay done at a THIRD of the cost of what Veterinary Associates was going to charge me. My recommendation is to SHOP AROUND. You may not want to take a drive into Manitowoc or Appleton, but you will save a LOT of money by doing so. Aside from that, the staff are usually knowledgeable, but I felt like they were rushing me out of the clinic during one visit. Sometimes the receptionist is friendly, sometimes they're downright rude. It's a toss-up when you walk in what kind of attitude they're going to have that day. In the end, just go to Appleton or Manitowoc. Read Less

They either didn't do large animals or where not able to come out right away. I called Reedsville and the receptionist was very friendly, supportive and helpful. She called me back within minutes and said they had a vet in the area. Dr. Herring arrived within 45 minutes! WOW! He took his time with my horse, treated him with kindness and stitched him up. He was professional, friendly and appeared to be completely knowledgeable about what he was doing, and this wasen't a simple treatment. He is providing follow-up and will be my vet for all my horses. On March 14,2008 we had taken our 10mth old lab to Dr. Glispie for x-rays of our dogs hips. The day we picked up our dog he was to busy to come and talk to us about his findings. He waited until the next day to finally call and gave us terrible news. We were told our puppy had hip dysplasia and it was not good. He told us to call when we decided if we wanted surgery or what. Never gave us hope and we believed him until we got a second opinion. We took our dog to another vet and we were told his hips were fine and that he was growing fast and his bones were having a hard time keeping up with him and suggested a diet. He is 10mths old and weighs 91lbs. Dr. Glispie should be ashamed of himself for making us believe him. I cried almost everyday thinking I would lose him. I don't want this to happen to anyone else so beware of Veternary Associates. Read Less

Read Less

Had an emergency when one of my horses got a huge cut on his side. Being new to the area I started calling any and all vets. He also reassured me that they would be available at those odd hours when horses usually get hurt. Thanks to Dr. Herring and the Veterinary Associates! Read Less

Read Less
