they did life threatening damage to our cat and sent us away because it was an hour before close. he died after complications the vet at this clinic caused and they didn't help, but suggested we drive him to a different clinic an hour away. i would NOT recommend bringing any of your animals to this clinic. they caused my pet to die a very painful death and did not do anything to help us. please don't take your pets here. I love this clinic. I went to quite a few clinics before this one. Dr. Trick is amazing. He came in on mother's day night to put our sweet Annie (rat) down for us so she would stop suffering. He is great with our dogs and I feel like he really wants to make sure he knows whats going on with your animals. We had to take our dog to WVRC this past Sunday and Dr. Trick made sure to review the files on what was going on and follow up with us. Today we had our follow up appt and Dr. Trick took his time with my boy and explained everything very thorough to me so I understood. I love their staff and I love that I dont feel like I am going in debt over vet bills. Very reasonably priced!Read Less

We have lived in IL, WI, and MN with our two girls. This is by far the best team of people we have found to care for our furbabies. They are kind to us, but more importantly they genuinely care for our girls. They are patient and gentle with them, and make sure to do a thorough checkup. There was a problem and they refused to respond to us or call us back. I get mistakes happen and it is human nature, but we should not have been charged for their mistake. I am 58 years old and had animals all my adult life so also had to have Vets all my life, I have never had one that compares to the ones at Country Veterinary Clinic. My dogs usually see Dr. Jackie but have also seen Dr. Trick. My male Weimeraner had a punctured lung and had to have a 2 hour surgery and stay there for 3 days. It was quite serious but they took amazing care of him and he recovered fully. Even though you would pay any amount to have your dog be okay and fully expected a very large bill considering the care he received, I found the amount they charged me to be very reasonable. We have been there for many things and I am always pleasantly surprised by the bills. I recommend these Vets to everyone one even if the drive is a bit farther it is well worth it.Read Less

We're a dog family, and thanks to a recommedation from a neighbor, we've been bringing our dogs to Country Vet near Hartford for several years now. Dr. Triick and his entire staff are wonderful to work with!! We've had to contact them for emergencies on the weekend and even had to have our furry family member spend the night there once. I never felt any anxiety about it, because I knew that she'd be well cared for. What's more...their fees are very competitive and most often even LESS expensive than other vets in the area.
