I took my dog in for an annual check up and within 13 days he died. They prescribed me medication that was not meant for elderly dogs or dogs with heart conditions. Which my dog was elderly and had a heart condition and they knew this. The medication made him sick and was for anxiety and they did not do or give me anything for his medical issues. They did not even list or give me any options to help or deal with his medical issues. I will not be returning to this location or suggesting it to anyone.

I had a sick cat that didn't make it. They made time for her with no appointment and charged me nothing because she needed more attention then they could provide but recommended another location. Finally they sent me a personally signed card when my cat died. I don't have a cat right know but they won my support should I need there services again. Excellent Customer service.

The best hospital in the area. The care and love they extend towards fur babies is exceptional. The entire staff and Dr. Sandhu especially is very kind and gentle. I take my Bichon regularly to them and he loves to see them all. My bichon has had a few surgeries at AAH and has had amazing results. If I could give these guys more than 5 stars I will happily do that. When I was at AAH with my fur baby, I saw a K9 who was being treated with much respect and love. Keep your good work guys. Thanks.

Ironically I just stopped going there because after four years of living 15 minutes (driving) from there we finally changed to the place 3 blocks from our house. We took our dogs and cat there for many years, Dr. Sandhu provides great care and has a gentle demeanor that puts the animals at ease, the assistants were always nice, we never had to wait more than a couple minutes, and the prices seemed to be competitive. Highly recommended.

Being new to the area, we had to find a veterinarian on very short notice for one of the worst days for our beloved German Shepherd. On the phone they were kind and let me know up front what the procedure would be as they had never seen us as a clients before. Upon arriving at the office, the receptionist/aide was polite, efficient, professional while being sympathetic to our situation. The doctor had a great demeanor, keeping us informed while reassuring us that the correct decision was being made. They gave us time and made us feel as if we had been long time customers. Imagine my surprise when we received a hand signed sympathy card in the mail, the very next day from the office, for people they had never met before.We will definitely be taking our other dog to this office in the near future for regular checkups. I can't recommend this veterinarian office highly enough.

I had to put my cat down that I loved a whole lot, he was very sick and in pain. I took him to the airport animal hospital. the vet and the tech are
very caring. they do care about the animals. The vet gave two shoots one was Euthanasia Sedation (if I understood it right) to relax (something like we get before surgery) and than Euthanasia to put him to rest.
He will be missed more than I can say and never be forgotten!
If you are looking for a great animal hospital that cares than go here!

Our dog (kloe) had a crazy up set stomach and things where going straight though. We were concerned and decided when needed to get her into the doc as soon as possible. Now being a Saturday at 10:30 it can be extremely tough to find a vet that we can get into and even tougher finding one that won't charge us a crazy fee for emergency visit. But I called Airport Animal hospital after calling 5 other places and they said bring her in right away. They were very caring for her and set her up with the right medicine to make it feel better. They gave my husband clear directions on how to care for her. They did not charge an emergency fee.

I just paid to get them cleaned again at a different vets office and the little pup who ran off (see below) had to get SIX pulled and her breath immediately smells better. We are very diligent with keeping our dog's teeth cleaned, so this leads me to believe that Dr. at AAH did not do a proper job with cleaning my dogs teeth. Still super disappointed with the service that we received at AAH. We took our two pups here back in 2013 for a teeth cleaning. I got a call an hour after I dropped them off, telling me that my dog had gotten out of the building (seriously)... Door closing protocol? I think not. How does a dog get past all of that staff and through MULTIPLE doorways?? I had to rush over and run around outside in -10 degree weather to look for my dog. I expected to find her hit by a car on Layton Avenue.. She is an 11 pound Pomeranian. After an hour of searching, I found her running on the opposite side of Layton Avenue. I had to sprint over frozen fields to get her (falling 3 times). She was somewhat drugged up already and was clearly distraught and terrified, so she wasn't listening to me. Finally, with the help of a police officer and some amazing pedestrians, we cornered her by a factory and I was able to slip a leash on her (after she got scared again and jumped off of a 7 foot drop). To top off this incident, the Airport Animal Hospital gave me NO discounts on my services. I still had to pay full price for two teeth cleanings and other shots that were needed. They are lucky that I came back to have their teeth cleaned... And the only reason I did is because Dr.Sandhu was very gentle with my dogs. I no longer go here because I can't trust that they will keep my dogs safe when they are there for more than a checkup.

I had a great experience here. I usually take my 8 year old cocker spaniel to Community Vet in Bayview. For the past few visits, I've had to wait weeks for an appointment at Community. I really needed an urgent appointment for my dog, due to an allergic reaction that she was itching herself raw with. I was relieved that Airport Animal Hospital got me in the same day I called. I had to bring my 18 month old son with me to the appointment, which is always hard when you are juggling a dog and a toddler that both want to get into everything. When we arrived, there was someone checking out that had 2 small dogs that started barking at my son. That didn't really offend me, but my son started crying because he was scared, so it started quite a commotion. Dr. Sandhu must of been able to hear all the commotion so he came out himself to offer me to get into one of the exams rooms while he notified someone to come check us in at the room. I felt bad for my son crying, but Dr. Sandhu said it wasn't a problem at all.Dr. Sandhu was attentive and gentle with my dog. He was also very accommodating and helpful to me while I juggled my son and the dog. He was patient and explained in detail the issues my dog was having and how we can treat it. At the end of the appointment, he let my son look at the stethoscope and pretend listen to the dog. Dr. Sandhu was so warm and polite. After a great experience, I was also pleasantly surprised that our exam fee was $45, which is $10 less than what we pay at community vet for urgent appointments (when I can get one!)I will be returning to this vet!

NO wonder they gave the lady above a estimate, they want to make sure they'll get paid. Take your pet elsewhere. Dr Sandu should beashamed! Research your Vet and make sure they atleast love animals more than money, and check to see what was their motivation to become a Vet, obviously this Dr is only about money.

What I liked about the Doctor and the staff was they gave me and estimate and let me decide what I wanted to do at the time based on my income. They did not make me feel like I don't care for my pet and did not belittle me. I am very pleased with the compassion that they showed me and my cat. Very satisfied client.

I recently brought my dog to the Airport Animal Hospital and was delighted to find that the staff was so friendly and helpful. Being that this is my first dog I had many questions to ask the assistants, not only did they thoroughly answer each one of my questions, but they also gave me additional information. The Dr is willing to listen to all my concerns and not pressure me into doing anything that I do not feel comfortable with. He’s very compassionate and handled my dog with such care. I would fully recommend this clinic to any first time pet owners and long time pet owners.

I had taken my cat to be declawed here, which was already a very difficult decision for me, and the staff was outright rude about the reason I was there. I was informed by one of the "nurses" that a declaw was actually an amputation, and that it is very painful and traumatic for the cat. I told her that we had medical reasons (the cat had terribly deformed paws and the claws just grew directly into the bottoms of her feet) and that we had made our decision. She left the room in a huff and then, right outside the open door of the exam room I was in, she told the vet "She's decided to go ahead with the amputation". I was almost in tears when I left the office. The vet seemed to do a good enough job, she wasn't in a lot of pain, but the prices aren't low, and the staff is insensitive. I would try another vet.

The best hospital in the area. The care and love they extend towards fur babies is exceptional. The entire staff and Dr. Sandhu especially is very kind and gentle. I take my Bichon regularly to them and he loves to see them all. My bichon has had a few surgeries at AAH and has had amazing results. If I could give these guys more than 5 stars I will happily do that. When I was at AAH with my fur baby, I saw a K9 who was being treated with much respect and love. Keep your good work guys. Thanks.

Ironically I just stopped going there because after four years of living 15 minutes (driving) from there we finally changed to the place 3 blocks from our house. We took our dogs and cat there for many years, Dr. Sandhu provides great care and has a gentle demeanor that puts the animals at ease, the assistants were always nice, we never had to wait more than a couple minutes, and the prices seemed to be competitive. Highly recommended.

Being new to the area, we had to find a veterinarian on very short notice for one of the worst days for our beloved German Shepherd. On the phone they were kind and let me know up front what the procedure would be as they had never seen us as a clients before. Upon arriving at the office, the receptionist/aide was polite, efficient, professional while being sympathetic to our situation. The doctor had a great demeanor, keeping us informed while reassuring us that the correct decision was being made. They gave us time and made us feel as if we had been long time customers. Imagine my surprise when we received a hand signed sympathy card in the mail, the very next day from the office, for people they had never met before.We will definitely be taking our other dog to this office in the near future for regular checkups. I can't recommend this veterinarian office highly enough.

I had to put my cat down that I loved a whole lot, he was very sick and in pain. I took him to the airport animal hospital. the vet and the tech are
very caring. they do care about the animals. The vet gave two shoots one was Euthanasia Sedation (if I understood it right) to relax (something like we get before surgery) and than Euthanasia to put him to rest.
He will be missed more than I can say and never be forgotten!

Our dog (kloe) had a crazy up set stomach and things where going straight though. We were concerned and decided when needed to get her into the doc as soon as possible. Now being a Saturday at 10:30 it can be extremely tough to find a vet that we can get into and even tougher finding one that won't charge us a crazy fee for emergency visit. But I called Airport Animal hospital after calling 5 other places and they said bring her in right away. They were very caring for her and set her up with the right medicine to make it feel better. They gave my husband clear directions on how to care for her. They did not charge an emergency fee.

I just paid to get them cleaned again at a different vets office and the little pup who ran off (see below) had to get SIX pulled and her breath immediately smells better. We are very diligent with keeping our dog's teeth cleaned, so this leads me to believe that Dr. at AAH did not do a proper job with cleaning my dogs teeth. Still super disappointed with the service that we received at AAH. We took our two pups here back in 2013 for a teeth cleaning. I got a call an hour after I dropped them off, telling me that my dog had gotten out of the building (seriously)... Door closing protocol? I think not. How does a dog get past all of that staff and through MULTIPLE doorways?? I had to rush over and run around outside in -10 degree weather to look for my dog. I expected to find her hit by a car on Layton Avenue.. She is an 11 pound Pomeranian. After an hour of searching, I found her running on the opposite side of Layton Avenue. I had to sprint over frozen fields to get her (falling 3 times). She was somewhat drugged up already and was clearly distraught and terrified, so she wasn't listening to me. Finally, with the help of a police officer and some amazing pedestrians, we cornered her by a factory and I was able to slip a leash on her (after she got scared again and jumped off of a 7 foot drop). To top off this incident, the Airport Animal Hospital gave me NO discounts on my services. I still had to pay full price for two teeth cleanings and other shots that were needed. They are lucky that I came back to have their teeth cleaned... And the only reason I did is because Dr.Sandhu was very gentle with my dogs. I no longer go here because I can't trust that they will keep my dogs safe when they are there for more than a checkup.

I had a great experience here. I usually take my 8 year old cocker spaniel to Community Vet in Bayview. For the past few visits, I've had to wait weeks for an appointment at Community. I really needed an urgent appointment for my dog, due to an allergic reaction that she was itching herself raw with. I was relieved that Airport Animal Hospital got me in the same day I called. I had to bring my 18 month old son with me to the appointment, which is always hard when you are juggling a dog and a toddler that both want to get into everything. When we arrived, there was someone checking out that had 2 small dogs that started barking at my son. That didn't really offend me, but my son started crying because he was scared, so it started quite a commotion. Dr. Sandhu must of been able to hear all the commotion so he came out himself to offer me to get into one of the exams rooms while he notified someone to come check us in at the room. I felt bad for my son crying, but Dr. Sandhu said it wasn't a problem at all.Dr. Sandhu was attentive and gentle with my dog. He was also very accommodating and helpful to me while I juggled my son and the dog. He was patient and explained in detail the issues my dog was having and how we can treat it. At the end of the appointment, he let my son look at the stethoscope and pretend listen to the dog. Dr. Sandhu was so warm and polite. After a great experience, I was also pleasantly surprised that our exam fee was $45, which is $10 less than what we pay at community vet for urgent appointments (when I can get one!)I will be returning to this vet!

NO wonder they gave the lady above a estimate, they want to make sure they'll get paid. Take your pet elsewhere. Dr Sandu should beashamed! Research your Vet and make sure they atleast love animals more than money, and check to see what was their motivation to become a Vet, obviously this Dr is only about money.

I took my 12 year old cat there because it was urinating outside the box. What I liked about the Doctor and the staff was they gave me and estimate and let me decide what I wanted to do at the time based on my income. They did not make me feel like I don't care for my pet and did not belittle me. I am very pleased with the compassion that they showed me and my cat. Very satisfied client.

I recently brought my dog to the Airport Animal Hospital and was delighted to find that the staff was so friendly and helpful. Being that this is my first dog I had many questions to ask the assistants, not only did they thoroughly answer each one of my questions, but they also gave me additional information. The Dr is willing to listen to all my concerns and not pressure me into doing anything that I do not feel comfortable with. He’s very compassionate and handled my dog with such care. I would fully recommend this clinic to any first time pet owners and long time pet owners.

I had taken my cat to be declawed here, which was already a very difficult decision for me, and the staff was outright rude about the reason I was there. I was informed by one of the "nurses" that a declaw was actually an amputation, and that it is very painful and traumatic for the cat. I told her that we had medical reasons (the cat had terribly deformed paws and the claws just grew directly into the bottoms of her feet) and that we had made our decision. She left the room in a huff and then, right outside the open door of the exam room I was in, she told the vet "She's decided to go ahead with the amputation". I was almost in tears when I left the office. The vet seemed to do a good enough job, she wasn't in a lot of pain, but the prices aren't low, and the staff is insensitive. I would try another vet.
