Not sure who both the previous reviews had worked with, I assume a vet who is no longer at the clinic. I have been using this clinic for my two kitties for months never and have had experiences similar to them.I have mostly worked with Dr DeChristina who has been nothing but amazing! She's helped my girlfriend and I understand how best to care for our two new kittens; diets, vaccinations, and the pros and cons of certain optional procedures.I've always felt informed and that she cares greatly about me and my animals. I would definitely recommend Chalet and particularly Dr DeChristina to anyone looking for a great new Vetrinarian. Read Less

I want to thank everyone at Chalet Vet for the seven years of wonderful care of my cat Mickey. In May he lost his life to lymphoma. Three years of daily medications; and after meds, "treats"! He came every morning to sit by my chair and take his meds. He knew that the treats would follow. Dr DeChristina helped me with some very difficult decisions along the way,thank you. Dawn you were always cheerful and ready to help with an appointment. I was always treated well by the entire staff. Mickey had a long and happy life, over 14 1/2 years. He was a gift from my sister when she passed away in 2008. I am so grateful for all of the Chalet Veterinary staff for helping me care for this special cat. Read Less

I agree with the previous post, as I had a very similar experience. They told me that my dog had kidney disease and that she needed all kinds of medication and a special diet and when I was told to go for a second opinion because things just didn't add up it turns out she only had a UTI fixable with one round of antibiotics...... All vet clinics are NOT the same snd I would not recommend going here! Read Less

I took my cat Sockury here because he could not keep any of his food down, was not using the bathroom and was losing weight rapidly. i scraped together every last penny i could find just to get him to the clinic for some help. i explained to the vet that i found him as a stray and he was very sick to start with but after a few months of baths food and love got to looking and acting like a normal young cat should. i told the vet that he gets sick (colds like the flu) often but i could usually make those better at home. From the second the vet saw my cat and through everything i said it was like she was judging me and blaming me for how he was like i was neglecting him and just didn't feed him. she offered him some food and gave me dirty looks as he scarfed it down, i had told her he eats just fine that i gave him wet food dry food even plain chicken broth but he just couldn't keep anything down. The vet told me to give him antibiotics and to try some of the cat food that vets give to sick animals, i bought them both. the entire visit she never once touched my cat just looked at him and gave me looks. i waited a few days and couldn't stand to see my baby in pain so i wanted another opinion and took him to McFarland the SECOND i walked in the door to the hospital there and the vet saw him they asked if he had been tested for FeLV. He was euthanize d the next day. I was told that antibiotics can sometimes prolong the life of cats with FeLV. I have Two other cats that i told the Chalet vet about, that they were both doing just perfectly fine. i got them both tested the night i put Sockury to sleep, one of them tested positive for the virus. i find it hard to believe that someone who knows what they are doing or cares anything at all for animals would be so bias and just let him go home and suffer. She (the vet) could have at least touched him, this was my kid, i wiped his butt cleaned his nose bandaged his wounds and i payed them to look at me like i was a heartless monster and i cant help but think that the vet knew what was wrong and just thought i couldn't pay. I have found and read other reviews about this Clinics treatment of pets and owners, and i dont know if its just one veterinarian who is like this or what but one person will make the entire place look bad.Read Less
