After taking my dogs here for two years I ended up switching to another vet because of the veterinarian! The vet here was not informative or helpful and tended to talk down to me during visits. I gave it three stars because the other staff is excellent and the clinic is clean and we'll tended to.

Everyone that we have worked with here are very sincere and caring. They have taken great care of our cat family and I know they truly care. Our sweet boy Baby died last month. We took him here to be creamated. The person working the front desk, unfortunately I don't recall her name, was so sincere and understanding when we came in, it provided us with as much comfort as possible in that moment. I watched as she took him back, and she handled him with such care and consi...deration. It really made me feel like she understood how incredibly important this boy had been in our lives. They sent us a card that was signed by several people and it was such a sweet gesture. We have another cat who is older and he is having some hormonal issues. Again, without a doubt, they are helping him have the best options for a happy life. As long as we have cats and live nearby, we will always be part of Prairie Veterinary Associates. We cannot thank you enough for all you've done so far. See more

Andrea and Dr. Sandy are amazing! They gave the most compassionate end-of-life care to our dear Baby Kitty, gabe us an extra 6 weeks with him, then helped with his cremation arrangements. Their answer...
Andrea and Dr. Sandy are amazing! They gave the most compassionate end-of-life care to our dear Baby Kitty, gabe us an extra 6 weeks with him, then helped with his cremation arrangements. Their answering staff has always responded with appropriate empathy and sympathy to my calls. So glad I found this practice! As feline specialists, they know cats and as a cat mom to(now) 3 cats, one with a significant heart murmur, I am so thankful for this practice! They are also taking supreme cafe of our hyperthyroid cat.

I am disputing the charges - very expensive. I just received a telephone call from a very mean lady at the Vet. I will never return (I have been going to them for three years).
About a minute ago, I received a threatening phone call from one of the owners of Prairie Veterinary Associates. He plans on taking my matter up with the Sun Prairie police. I am an attorney, and these folks have no idea who they are up against.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about the staff here at Prairie Vet Associates! I couldn't have asked for better people to care for my guinea pig! When my guinea pig was sick, they made sure to keep me updated at everything that was going on! They made sure to put me at ease and make me feel comfortable. They are willing to go above and beyond to care for their animal patients! Thank you again! :)

I wish I trusted my doctor as much as my cat's Doctor(s). I have a handful of vets within walking distance of my house but no way. I will gladly drive from downtown Madison to Sun Prairie with a yowling cat in my car because I know I can trust this vet 110%. 10 yrs of amazing care to my furries!

We've taken our French Bulldog to Prairie Veterinary Associates for over two years, and we absolutely love this clinic and these doctors! We recently saw Dr. Amber Bruhn and Vet Tech Steve, and they took such good care of our dog-child. They identified a skin condition that he's been struggling with for months. I love that they have Saturday hours. We usually schedule a month in advance, but we have been able to get an appointment for an acute issue with only a couple days notice. They are very reasonably priced too. Vet Tech Steve is so caring and informative, and Dr. Amber brings a high level of expertise to the practice. I recommend Prairie Vets to anyone looking for a vet, especially on the East Side.

"Mew mew mew meow. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrr" Mookoo will never go anywhere else. We were traveling half hour to get what we thought was special care. We were so wrong. At Prairie Vet, they made sure Mookoo would feel as comfortable as possible. They genuinely care about your pet. Dr Katy communicates very well and enjoys her profession helping animals. She has a great personality anyone could talk to about their animal. The vet tech was a pro with Mookoo. The environment is clean, sunny and friendly. Not one single complaint.

I can't even begin to explain but this place is perfect. It's comfortable, doesn't smell medicinal and everyone is so genuinely nice. They are thorough and explain everything, making sure you understand and are happy to answer any additional questions. Even my most shy cat was completely at ease here. I have 4 cats. This is my new vet, for sure! Completely reasonable prices as well!

Can't say enough good things about Prairie Vet. We've taken our two cats here for several years now and the gentle care they receive is why we keep coming back. We have received treatment above and beyond what I would consider normal, and it's all because these folks LOVE animals.

We took him here to be creamated. When my guinea pig was sick, they made sure to keep me updated at everything that was going on! They made sure to put me at ease and make me feel comfortable.
