When I called Cream City Kitty for a second opinion I was falling down the emotional and financial rabbit hole of a young sick cat, vet visits and test that seemed endless. You wonder if you are prolonging the suffering, or if just around the corner they are going to pull through. ..Your debt is growing fast. The previous vet office wasn't seeing the problem from the exams, blood work, xrays, and 2 different Drs. The cat seemed a bit more comfortable after meds and fluid they gave her, but was still vomiting, not eating and her abdomen was growing with fluid by the day. (Turns out, she had swallowed a thread and it was caught at the back of her tongue. The thread was bunching up the intestines and was cutting through the intestinal walls.) Meanwhile, the problem is still unknown to us and is progressing. Going into the 3rd visit the options were now euthanasia or hospitalization for Barium swallow study tests (on a vomiting cat) that may or may not show the problem. Then maybe an outside consult, and more tests and/or surgery...etc etc. All in all the debt could EASILY rise above $1,700 on top of the sum already spent, and the cat could still suffer. Right away I called and talked to Cream City Kitty. They made a plan for the first thing in the morning. We walked in at 9:00 AM. In our particular case it only took minutes for the problem to be identified, explained to us, treatment decided, and cost estimated. She was in surgery by the hour. At 1:30 PM I got the report that she was awake and recovering. By the next day she was home, alert, eating for the first time in a week, and sitting on my lap. She's almost her old self again. If you have a cat, go to the clinic where they KNOW cats. Your cat, family and finances will be better off.

So as I walk in I see about 5 cats that are just out and about so well behaved. The staff instantly knew who my cat was, they treated him like their pet! The vet was so sweet she really made the experience plesant for my little one. He for the first time in his life will be without eat mites. The entire thing was under 100$, they really are amazing people who care about your cats. I hope the best for this company.

Took my cat, Spike there for the first time. They were awesome. Constant follow up as they had to keep him due to monitoring for a bladder infection. I know he isn't the easiest cat to deal with at the vet, but my husband and I are so happy with his return. I was happy with everyone I encountered there and we will be coming back again in the future. I felt their prices were reasonable also. Thank you again for treating him. Cream City Kitty Clinic is by far the best vet office that my girls have been to. They have been nothing short of kind and compassionate with my scaredy cat and my sassy cat. They always display the utmost of patience and love toward their patients. The girls even purr during their exams.When we moved out of Waukesha, I was nervous about needing to find a new vet. However, with their available hours, I am able to get the girls in on a weekend or an evening, as needed. As a result, I am more than happy to drive about a half hour past multiple other offices to see the wonderful people of Cream City Kitty Clinic.

Dr. Schmid is, to my knowledge, the only mobile vet service in Southeast Wisconsin. When it came time to put my 13 year old Rottweiler down, I had decided that I wanted to enlist her services as I knew my driving following the proceedure would not be a good idea. An emergency situation arose on a Sunday where the dog had to be euthanized that day. I called Dr. Schmid and then tried other vets in the area as the dog was immovable due to a stroke. Only Dr. Schmid replied to me and she came out special just for my dog. I have never seen such tenderness in a vet or such compassion. She and Katie, her assistant, took time with all of us and made my dog's death as peaceful, as dignified, as good, and as humane as absolutely possible. I cannot say enough good things about either her or Katie and recommend to anyone who will listen that if, as a pet owner, you need a vet and want the best for your furry family member, you call Dr. Schmid.

Cream City Kitty Clinic's staff is wonderful. I almost lost my young cat to a urinary tract infection. He needed several medications and I was unable to administer the pills. The staff housed him the two weeks he needed to be medicated. I was able to visit him at anytime and bring him his toys and blankets with my scent on them. He made a complete recovery. That was 9 years ago. I am a loyal and completely satisfied customer. I am now married and my wife's two cats are also seen by the vets and staff of Cream City Kitty Clinic. I visit the clinic every two months, to pick up maintenance meditations and cat food. The staff is very nice and always ask of my three cats by name. There are several clinics that are closer to my home, but they don't offer the same amenities and level of caring as Cream City Kitty Clinic.

Unfortunately, I have to disagree with the other reviews. Our cat died while boarding at the clinic, and, although, we do not blame Cream City Clinic for the death of our cat, we did not appreciate the dishonest description of the manner of her death which did not match her personality in the least. We also were appalled at the callous manner they showed to us afterward. They seemed more concerned with handling the corpse of our cat then with our grief. We cannot recommend this clinic to anyone.

We take our cat here and have been very pleased with the expertise of the staff here. Any of the Vets are wonderful and caring as are all the staff. Dr. McDonald helped save our kitten's life and he is a fine and feisty cat today. They always have a nice selection of special foods and toys there. There are no dogs at the clinic, so that means your cat get very specialized care in a less-stressful environment. Highly recommended!

The entire staff is extremely friendly & very compassionate. Dr. McDonald talks more to your cat than she will with you, but she still makes you feel very comfortable & confident in her abilities. Many cat speciality clinics come across as highly impersonal & leave pet owners with the feeling that they are nothing more than another fee - Cream City Kitty Clinic is the exception to that. Dr. McDonald is a wonderful vet!

So as I walk in I see about 5 cats that are just out and about so well behaved. The staff instantly knew who my cat was, they treated him like their pet! The vet was so sweet she really made the experience plesant for my little one. He for the first time in his life will be without eat mites. The entire thing was under 100$, they really are amazing people who care about your cats. I hope the best for this company.

Took my cat, Spike there for the first time. They were awesome. Constant follow up as they had to keep him due to monitoring for a bladder infection. I know he isn't the easiest cat to deal with at the vet, but my husband and I are so happy with his return. I was happy with everyone I encountered there and we will be coming back again in the future. I felt their prices were reasonable also. Thank you again for treating him. We are excited to see him return to his old self soon.

Cream City Kitty Clinic is by far the best vet office that my girls have been to. They have been nothing short of kind and compassionate with my scaredy cat and my sassy cat. They always display the utmost of patience and love toward their patients. The girls even purr during their exams.When we moved out of Waukesha, I was nervous about needing to find a new vet. However, with their available hours, I am able to get the girls in on a weekend or an evening, as needed. As a result, I am more than happy to drive about a half hour past multiple other offices to see the wonderful people of Cream City Kitty Clinic.

unfortunately, i also would NEVER recommend this clinic. on a Friday, they told me i could take my cat home and bring him back the following Monday and that he was in no peril. my cat was obviously in distress. he died Sunday morning after i found my son had stayed up with him all night comforting him. also thought the vet to be callous. if you love your pet, you won't take them here.

Dr. Schmid is, to my knowledge, the only mobile vet service in Southeast Wisconsin. When it came time to put my 13 year old Rottweiler down, I had decided that I wanted to enlist her services as I knew my driving following the proceedure would not be a good idea. An emergency situation arose on a Sunday where the dog had to be euthanized that day. I called Dr. Schmid and then tried other vets in the area as the dog was immovable due to a stroke. Only Dr. Schmid replied to me and she came out special just for my dog. I have never seen such tenderness in a vet or such compassion. She and Katie, her assistant, took time with all of us and made my dog's death as peaceful, as dignified, as good, and as humane as absolutely possible. I cannot say enough good things about either her or Katie and recommend to anyone who will listen that if, as a pet owner, you need a vet and want the best for your furry family member, you call Dr. Schmid.

Cream City Kitty Clinic's staff is wonderful. I almost lost my young cat to a urinary tract infection. He needed several medications and I was unable to administer the pills. The staff housed him the two weeks he needed to be medicated. I was able to visit him at anytime and bring him his toys and blankets with my scent on them. He made a complete recovery. That was 9 years ago. I am a loyal and completely satisfied customer. I am now married and my wife's two cats are also seen by the vets and staff of Cream City Kitty Clinic. I visit the clinic every two months, to pick up maintenance meditations and cat food. The staff is very nice and always ask of my three cats by name. There are several clinics that are closer to my home, but they don't offer the same amenities and level of caring as Cream City Kitty Clinic.

Unfortunately, I have to disagree with the other reviews. Our cat died while boarding at the clinic, and, although, we do not blame Cream City Clinic for the death of our cat, we did not appreciate the dishonest description of the manner of her death which did not match her personality in the least. We also were appalled at the callous manner they showed to us afterward. They seemed more concerned with handling the corpse of our cat then with our grief. We cannot recommend this clinic to anyone.

We take our cat here and have been very pleased with the expertise of the staff here. Any of the Vets are wonderful and caring as are all the staff. Dr. McDonald helped save our kitten's life and he is a fine and feisty cat today. They always have a nice selection of special foods and toys there. There are no dogs at the clinic, so that means your cat get very specialized care in a less-stressful environment. Highly recommended!

Cream City is by far the best vet around! The entire staff LOVES cats. They are very knowledgable and helpful. They make you feel like they really care about the animals rather than the fees. Fees are reasonable. I live 40 miles away and feel it is absolutely worth the trip. Highly recommended!

The entire staff is extremely friendly & very compassionate. Dr. McDonald talks more to your cat than she will with you, but she still makes you feel very comfortable & confident in her abilities. Many cat speciality clinics come across as highly impersonal & leave pet owners with the feeling that they are nothing more than another fee - Cream City Kitty Clinic is the exception to that. Dr. McDonald is a wonderful vet!
