I switched to you guys because of the good reviews. Dr Johnson seemed to be way to focused on an ear infection instead of the constant diarrhea my dog was having in addition to itchiness. He recommended this Apoquil which is super expensive and had me keep coming back every couple of months for the ear at $62 a pop. I’ve had two labs before this and never had a vet have me keep coming back for an ear infection. I did some research on my own and started making my dog some home recipes I found on the internet. Turns out it is food allergies and I fixed the problem. No more meds. The top three indicators of a food allergy are diarrhea, ear infections, and itchiness. Guess I should have become a vet, and I am saving money. Kinda shady to make someone keep coming back at $62 to look at a lab’s ear infection, which are quite common. He told me if I didn’t get the ear under control she could become deaf in that ear. Thanks for nothing.

Our pets have received nothing but the best care from our Veterinarian & staff at VCA. They've always managed to work with us within our budget by finding a variety of ways for us to meet our pets needs when we're struggling financially. Unfortunately, we had to put down my 20 year old feline Luna who was dying painfully from heart failure. He made it 8 months longer than the original prognosis so he was a fighter!
The care, empathy & tenderness with which both we & most importantly our cat was treated when the time came we will be forever grateful for. A veterinarian & their staff cannot 'play-act' such a blatant display of love & sadness. Their sincerity helped us cope & feel less alone, & their compassionate demeanor helped calm our cat in the last few minutes of his life.
If you want a veterinary clinic that is professional, has a full panel of experts, has all the equipment needed at the clinic to deal with ANY emergency, is willing to work with you within your budget if money is tight & consists of compassionate & dedicated individuals who love all animals (and it shows), then VCA is the best choice you'll ever make for yourself and, above all else, for your pet(s)!

Almost a year ago I adopted a pitbull from MADACC in Milwaukee. He was scaly, flaky and emaciated. MADACC couldn't tell me anything about him. Luckily we found Dr. Centgraf. That first visit was the day after I brought him home. She spent at least an hour and a half with us going over him head to tail. She created a game plan to get him healthy. Many baths, meds, food changes and vet visits later and I have a healthy, beautiful, clownish, cuddle boy. I honesty don't think I could have gotten my Chief healthy without the compassionate and professional care we received from Dr. Centgraf.

We had a dog who had been misdiagnosed with allergies. We had a referral to see Dr. Centgraf and she changed my dogs life! She correctly diagnosed him with an autoimmune disease and began his regimen of medications. As he aged, she was incredibly understanding of his continued health issues and would call us at home the same day, if we had put a call into her with a question. Now, at end of life, she has been amazing, not requiring us to bring him into the office for different meds for comfort. She does it all over the phone and has been incredibly understanding. Wonderful service!!!!!

Great with pets! I have a dog that requires a little "downer" I guess you could say, just to visit the vet for her yearly shots. They take their time with her and are extra sensitive about my needs during this stressful event for both me and my dog. We have been coming here for years and find it to be a valuable asset to myself and the community!

Great with pets! I have a dog that requires a little "downer" I guess you could say, just to visit the vet for her yearly shots. They take their time with her and are extra sensitive about my needs during this stressful event for both me and my dog. We have been coming here for years and find it to be a valuable asset to myself and the community!

I would like to start by saying, I have been a client of Dr. Johnson for 30 plus years, and trust him and his staff completely. My concerns are always met with an honest answer and all of the staff have treated me and my entire family like one of their own. Their concerns for my pets are truly admirable and even if this is not my pets favorite place to come, I know they will be well taken care of. Also, Best Care grooming does a great job on both my dogs and the convenience of them being in the same building is a plus. Hats off to Dr. J, his staff at VCA, and the groomers at Best Care, I appreciate all you do for my pets!

This is the worst vet you can find. They do not care about customer service nor do they know how to treat your animal or their owner. I go there for my first appointment (which they are giving away free to people who go online to get a "coupon" but not to customers that are referred) and it costs me hundreds of dollars for nothing!!! When you talk to the "Manager" Renee she is rude and does not care about any complaint that you have. She is rude, condescending, and belittling. I will NEVER take another one of my animals to this vet. I highly recommend that you look for a different vet with compassion and understanding of your animal(s).

I switched to you guys because of the good reviews. Dr Johnson seemed to be way to focused on an ear infection instead of the constant diarrhea my dog was having in addition to itchiness. Our pets have received nothing but the best care from our Veterinarian & staff at VCA. They've always managed to work with us within our budget by finding a variety of ways for us to meet our pets needs when we're struggling financially.
