Everyone is wonderful with our Zelda! Dr. Arnett has been seeing her since she was 9 weeks old for her first puppy visit. We have seen the other Doctors there as well for various things and they are all attentive to our concerns. They provide appropriate recommendations for both short and long term care. I drive to Waunakee from Milwaukee! I have been going to them now since 2009 and couldn't be happier. I have tried to find a vet closer that I trust as much and where the level of care is similar but nothing compares. The staff at Waunakee is top notch and Doctor Arnett goes above and beyond with every appointment, call, email or text. I have never seen anything quite like it. He takes pride in his work, and he genuinely cares about his patients. He reaches out on the weekends post-surgery morning and night to check-in on them, he has extreme integrity and you can always trust the information and advice given. We paid for a puppy wellness plan August of 2015 because our dog needed to be neutered. The plan spread out the cost of the neutering over the year and it included visits and some shots. We had no idea that the plan renewed automatically and we were charged for 3 months of a different wellness plan without our knowledge. We called to inquire and about the charge and were very upset to find out we were being charged for a plan we knew nothing about and did not give permission to continue. Waunakee Vet refused to refund us the $80. We will not be going back there and are so disappointed at the way this was handled. Read Less

The staff at this clinic is exceptional and I highly recommend this clinic for your pet needs! I love the vet tech Rael! She has been our tech for our former dog and now our new dog. She is always happy and greets us like we are her only client. The vet can be a scary place for your pet but Rael takes the time to pet and talk to our dog so that the appointment is like visiting an old friend! We have gone to the clinic for years only ever needing to go for annual visits, the service has always been wonderful. The past few weeks I think I have visited the office ten times not including the countless phone conversations that I have had with the staff. Trust me I was afraid to call cuz I wasn't sure how long you wait it out for and what you watch for to know if it's a real problem. Even if I needed to leave a message I always got a call back right away. They were so helpful and knowledgeable. It was worth the visits I made and the visits I avoided. Bella and Zoey love going which makes the visits so much easier. I have seen and dealt with every person in the clinic they are all great. Excellent place to take your pet. I have bad experiences in the past, but the friendly knowledgeable staff makes this the place to go. The vets always try to work with you to come to a decision they are there just to make money off of you, they care about your pets. Wow is the best thing I can say! We have been taking our little girl Lola to Waunakee Vet Clinic for 5 years now, even after our move to Sun Prairie! We just couldn't dare leave the amazing care of Dr. Leslie Estelle! She is absolutely incredible! After our beloved pooch devoured a meal of freshly laundered clothing Dr. Estelle took charge to ensure our little girl was safe and healthy! I cannot say enough about the care of our Lola, the empathy, and continued follow-up care shown by Dr. Estelle, Reah and really all of the Waunakee Vet staff during this scary, stressful time! I have no doubt Lola will continue to make a full recovery back to her normal wonderful, goat-like self, and we owe it all to Dr. Estelle and her team! I have been going to Waunakee Veterinary Clinic since the 1970's. Needless to say a lot has changed since then. I had Dr. Larson for 20 years until she retired about 4 years ago. Fortunately prior to that Dr. Wes Arnett joined the team and I had the great fortune to get to know him. Dr. Estelle has also been a wonderful addition to the team. I have trusted 6 generations of Labrador Retrievers to their care and 11 litters of puppies. I refer new owners to them too. In October of 2012 my yellow lab who was 10 years old at the time started having signs of being unbalanced when she walked. One day she had a seizure and we took her right to the clinic and they ran blood work to find her glucose levels were low. An ultra sound was ordered and they found an Insulinoma on her pancreas. This most often is considered a death sentence and the outlook didn't appear to be hopeful. I received the devastating news on a Friday. What most people don't realize is Dr. Arnett doesn't go home and not think about his clients. He was so concerned about my girl and e-mailed me on a Sunday night and suggested I talk to the oncologist at Veterinary Specialty for his opinion. We got in the next day and did surgery the following day. I am happy to say she turned 12 in May 2014 and is still enjoying daily walks and good health. I am so thankful that Dr. Arnett suggested I speak with the oncologist. I would have lost her within 2 months. Dr. Wes is one of the most conscientious and caring people I have had the good fortune to know. The addition of the Laser Therapy has been wonderful too. At 12 large breed dogs can start to have stiffness in their joints. I did a series of treatments in April and give her one treatment every couple months because I choose to and feel this has made a huge difference in her walking and comfort level. Dr. Estelle suggested the laser when I had her evaluated for stiffness and I am so glad she did. The price is reasonable and well worth it. In addition to the 12 year old I have her 9 year old daughter and 2 year old granddaughter so they give wonderful care starting from puppyhood to being senior citizens. All of the staff at this clinic are kind and compassionate and I firmly believe each time I had to make the tough decision to euthanize they were deeply saddened too. I feel like they are family and will always entrust the care of my wonderful dogs to them.Read Less

Everyone at Waunakee Veterinary Clinic is caring and conscientious. They're very responsive to our needs and very understanding of our dog Cooper's special needs. Cooper loves everyone there. I know it sounds weird that a dog would love to go to the vet, but he does! Recently, they've been treating him with a laser treatment for pain and mobility issues in his hind section and his left shoulder. Dr. Larson & Dr. Arnett are great at the every day stuff, but failed to diagnose and offer treatment options for my dog's cancer until one day before we were forced to put him to sleep. We gave them all of the information that would have been required, and even pointed out lumps in his neck, but they refused to do a full head to toe physical exam. After two small bills were paid is the only time that she offered to do additional tests. I will never take another pet to this clinic or doctors again. Read Less
