We took my daughters dog on the day the vaccinations were offered at a discounted price & ended up getting all the needed shots. We were then advised to bring our dog bk for follow up on the rabies shot, my husband took him bk and our dog was given another set of shots and we were charged $78 more 🤔, He was told that these shots were another set that were needed. Im not sure why we weren’t informed of this from the get go! Seems like this is a Scam!!! I just hope it doesn’t have a negative effect on our dog. Seems like a pretty knowledgeable vet. Very friendly staff and affordable pricing. My main concern was that Dr. Ahi seemed to be afraid and hesitant of my 9 month old german shepherd the first time we were seen. My pup is very suspicious of people like that and will begin to act aggressively. He's very friendly, loves people, and has never ever had a problem with a vet or anyone until we saw Dr. Ahi. I know that anytime I take my dog to be seen he calls animal control to help him lol. My pup gets along great with animal control too because they're friendly towards him from the beginning. I don't know if he has a previous history with GSD, but I just thought it was strange to see a vet that was scared of a dog let alone a puppy. Read Less

It awesome that we were able to get in for a last minute appointment, our daughters 13 year old Tabby cat had an infected nail and she wasn't doing well, we got in to see Dr. Ahi who gave her a check up and quickly treated her infection. The girls at the front desk were sweet and answered all our questions, they could see my daughter was extremely concerned for her cat. Came here about a month ago because our puppy was not feeling too well. He wasn't eating and was having diarrhea. We came on a Saturday around 230pm without an appointment and  Dr. Ahi was kind enough to see us even if we didn't have an appointment! His clinic was the only clinic opened around the area.Dr. Ahi was very nice,he examined our puppy and said it might be Parvo he gave our puppy antibiotics and hydration. Took my big boy (American Staffordshire) here Saturday because he hurt his back leg and thank God it's not broken!  The receptionist was very nice and the doctor was really good and we didn't even wait long to see the doctor.  He checked him out and told us what needed to be done and also gave my big boy a shot that was over due and he will have to return in 3 weeks to get the 2nd shot.  The prices were very reasonable.  This will be my big boy's new vet. to go to!!!  Thanks!!! Although I live in Rialto, I never knew this place existed. I came here as a result of an accident. My dog was hit by a car and animal control happened to be driving by and actually had me follow her to this location. They took my dog in right in and Dr. Ahi  was in the room in less than 10 minutes.  He did a quick exam, he was very informative as to what he looking for, what to rule out etc. And was able to provide us with a price quote pretty quickly. I would have to say we were there for about 15-20 minutes.  We did had to leave my dog there for treatment. Upon returning to pick her up, the wonderful assistant at the front counter informed us it would be about 10 more minutes because she was still receiving treatment. But within a couple minutes, Dr. Ahi came out holding our dogs leash on one hand and an IV bag on the other just so we could "see" she was going to be fine. As all good pet owners would agree, price is no option, but that wasn't an issue here because the prices are reasonable considering the quality care recieved. What I appreciate most, is Dr. Ahi spoke to us directly, not sending his assistants as most Veterinarians do, and was clear in follow up instructions for how to care for our pet. My experience was all in all a great one. Of course my dog is fine but I have other pets as well and I plan on continuing their care with Dr. Ahi. I found this place as a lower cost clinic compared to Rialto Animal Hospital! They are nice there and usually not busy when I have gone! Took my dog Rocky there for a rabbies shot a few months back and today took my daughters puppy to get his 2nd shots and puppy exam! He has a clean bill of health and did really good with the doctor! I love this place. They always manage to get me in without much of a wait. They are reasonable priced and the vet is wonderful and caring. Dr Ahi is all about the animals not about trying to over charge you. When our dog Lil Girl was dying we were in and out of there many times and he didn't try to charge us for test that would do nothing to save her life and there were some visits that he didn't even charge us for. I almost never write a review unless I am compelled by the exceptionally good impression and service I get from a business.Dr. Ahi is by far one of the best vets I've seen for my animals. He's an incredibly knowledgeable and honest person. That is so hard to find nowadays in vets, because everyone is trying to make as much of a profit in animal medicine as possible, but not Dr. Ahi. I have so much respect for him, he is so kind and caring to the animals and the owners. I had such a rough 2 months taking care of my sick almost 20 year old cat. I brought her in 3 times thinking it was time to put her down, and each time Dr. Ahi came up looked at her and told me to take her home because she still had some time left. It was only the very last time that he said it was time. He was incredibly empathetic to my emotions and communicated with me the whole time so I knew exactly what was going up until he made the final injection. He made me and my cat as comfortable as possible.I can't imagine anyone having a bad experience with this vet, I would without a second of hesitation recommend his clinic to anyone and everyone looking for a vet. I had been looking for a good vet for my pup, I found one!!! The staff, the vet, the office is great! They really care about animals. They genuinely care and don't just want your money. I have been getting puppy shots for my dog here, and the vet recommended taking it slow with them because she's so tiny. Took my pit bull in today to get a check up after getting hit by a car last weekend. Dr and staff were both very friendly and explained everything to us. He checked him out, was a little scared but I totally understand he's a big guy. Prescribed meds and was very kind and gentile. Told me what to look out for, and was overall a pleasant experience. Love the fact that you can get a rabies shot without having to pay for an office visit. Brought my other dog back to get her rabies.  Will be making an appointment to spay our cat next. I really like and respect Community Animal Hospial and would trust no one else with my dogs. This place is different, people and there animals are taken care of here and they do a fine job of it. We are fighting cancer together right now for Jasper and we are using other alternatives than chemo which I can no way afford or that I don't think is the right choice anyway. Through research and reading clinical studies we have made a plan and it's working against lymphoma, the tumors have shrunk and I can find no sigh of them. I like that Dr Ahi will look me in the eye and he tells me the truth no matter what but he's kind in his demeanor and he's soft spoken, he is also a fine surgeon and he never hesitates to do what needs to be done working with quiet courage his good hands performing the life saving cuts so your pet can heal and be well again. Even when it's end of life they all preform together to make sure your pet dies pain free with dignity and once again the kindness and compassion shows because they know that this animal is no animal to you but a member of your family beloved and cherished. I'd been on a search for a vet after moving, let me tell you,almost all of them look@ their proffession@a business 1st rather than putting the health of clients above all else. This is NOT the case here.Even@walk-in waiting time was short,in&out,but thats not what sold me.What did was I wasn't hurridly pushed out the door.I had ?s which he took the time to answer&thoroughly@that & didnt try pushing anything on me treatment wise.He explained to me different options(which you ALWAYS have)&told me the likely outcome of each.He's also willing to listen to any input you might have@ well(I'm a breeder so I've been around the block)this vet cares&hes super knowledgable for my medium size dogs&general health/common health issues for canines in general.Most vets are text book vets,you can google info yourself&get 411,this vet has experience to boot hands on,he knows what hes talking about&has the experience to back up his diagnosis Very sanitary & clean.I was referred by 2 different people. Dr. Ahi and his staff are the absolute finest. You simply do not find any better. I must relate a true story. Last week I was stuck at work in LA and my disabled wife was at home when one of our dogs had a breathing emergency. He is a 15 year old daschund and is generally extremely active and happy in spite of his age. My wife felt he needed immediate medical attention as he could barely breathe. One problem, I was in LA at work and unable to get home in a timely manner. Due to her disability, my wife does not drive. I called Dr. Ahi, explained my dilemma and he said he would drive several miles to our home and pick up our sick little buddy. He arrived in a very timely manner to our home, picked up our dog and took him to the hospital and began treatment immediately. He was able to stabilize his breathing and he was able to come home that night.With the prescribed by Dr. Ahi to assist his breathing, our little guy is doing fantastic, nearly three weeks later. i cannot praise Dr. Ahi enough and his commitment to his profession is second to none. He is a fantastic doctor who really cares about the animals. Some doctors still do house calls, much to my amazement. When it came time to check out, I begged Dr. Ahi to charge for the house call or at least let me give him money for gas!! He said the standard office call charge was fine and that he was happy he could help and that our dog was doing better and could go home.Needless to say, Dr. Ahi is a diamond in the rough, a skilled vet and a fantastic human being.
