It can be so difficult to find a good vet in any city, especially one close to home who you can trust with your little animal buds.
Dr. Foot is just that vet. His humble office is located in NDG, squeezed between pubs, eateries and local tailors. The quiet space, hardly advertised on the outside, is both warm and welcoming. You aren't bombarded with shelves full of high end branded foods, or even by a very busy waiting room. Instead, you're met with just Dr. Foot and his assistant seated neatly at an old wood desk.
It is undeniable his love and compassion for animals, it was only moments before he was seated on the floor with my cat, talking to him and petting him. He isn't quick to prescribe or run tests, and his ample experience, knowledge, wisdom and familiarity with animals affords you the opportunity to learn more about your furry friend, their behaviour and the reasons for doing it. His advice should be taken as seriously as a prescription, as it is certain to remedy the problem much more effectively than uncertain tests and long doses of possibly unneeded medication.
While many may walk by Dr. Foot's office, never knowing it is there, the animals and their humans most certainly do. This vet is worth the commute if you are not from our borough, and I am grateful to have found such a resource for my cat. Read Less
