Une vétérinaire nous demande de revenir pour une radio de contrôle avant de nous donner des antibios... j’attends 2h pour qu’un autre vétérinaire me dise qu’il ne comprends pas pourquoi et que la note de sa collègue n’est pas clair et que mon chien va mieux alors de partir sans même examiner mon chien... Finalement le tout à empiré et un vétérinaire compétent dans une autre clinique a pu traiter mon chien. 500$ et beaucoup de temps perdu pour de l’incompétence! My less than 4 years old cat died at an emergency clinic yesterday after having visited Clinique veterinaire Delorimier & Rosemont less than 36 hours prior. Sickness is sickness and I know life is also death. Like most, I had my share of losses in life. We (my wife, our beloved pet and I) had the bad luck to go to this clinic because it was the closest to our place. We had our beloved examined by a certain Qui... Note that I do not ad the Dr. in front of the name of this lesser human being. This unprofessional human being did not even talk to the animal he was treating. Did not even pat him. He was rough and inconsiderate with his patient.Only an hour of reading on my cat's condition on vet.purdue.edu/vth between force feeding sessions tells me that he prescribed medication that is actually counter-indicated for the condition our cat was in. He also did not intubate a sick and feeble animal we had to force feed, hence creating more stress and suffering for a sick animal. Just as if he never force fed a sick animal in his professional life... He did not prescribe gut medicine so the force feeding would not obstruct the sick animal's stomach. Again going against the treatment protocol for the cat's condition. The wrong treatment protocol was confirmed by the vet who had to put my best friend away while he passed away in my arms. We where told that having the right treatment protocol and the right means to treat him at home, he would have had over 80% chances of survival in good health. A complaint to their professional order has been filled and communicated by said doctor.I cannot blame the clinic or the partners of this man, but if they actually hire and/or work alongside incompetents like Quirion without doing anything, I will stay clear from that clinic if I ever get a new companion.
