I cannot express how much I love, appreciate, and trust Dr. Banon and his entire team. Dr. Banon has treated both of my pets, and even did us the honour of helping our beautiful osteosarcoma afflicted gsd cross the rainbow bridge peacefully and with dignity.
He is knowledgeable and provides advice and compliments about his patients in equal and ample measure. Despite what some reviewers say, I have never found him to be arrogant or anything other than friendly, good natured, and eager to help his patients.
Frankly, every single day, vets see people being, well, people. So many pet parents are refusing to vaccinate their dogs out of fear of "pawtism", are feeding their carnivorous pets vegan diets, or coming to vets for "behavioural issues" that are actually just normal puppy/kitten or breed specific characteristics. People buy designer breeds of dogs like pugs, frenchies, and micro teacup breeds that are known to have horrible health conditions due to inbreeding and then expect vets to be god and fix them.
IMO, if he's not treating you well, you aren't treating your pet well and he's well within his right to be cold with you.
I couldn't do this job for five minutes never mind for the 35 years that Dr. Banon has been practicing.

Je ne recommande pas du tout cette clinique. Nous sommes allé le 2 janvier pour une coupe de griffe car notre clinique principal était fermé. C'était la 2 ou 3e fois que nous y allons. Voici le résultat sur la photo. Il peut arriver que les chiens saignent après leur coupe mais pas autant que ça. Cette une clinique sans coeur et dispendieuse pour rien. Le staff montrait AUCUN signe d’empathie. Pire service à la clientèle. J'étais en panique à mon retour et n'a jamais tenter de me rassurer. Pour eux c'était une situation très normale. De plus mon chien quand a revu la technicienne, il tremblait comme s'il voyais le diable en personne. Je n'ai jamais vu mon chien agir de cette façon. N’allez JAMAIS à cette clinique, 0 friendly, air bête, 0 empathie et cher pour rien. Allez chez Jasmin sur Guy.

I have been bringing my cat Wilson here for 5 years. In all this time, I have never been disappointed and can confidently say that Dr. Banon and Dr. Desjardins are both passionate about the health of their patients. They take the time to answer any questions I might have (I have many) and if for whatever reason they need to rush to another appointment, their veterinary technicians are equally as wonderful and attentive. I recently had to bring Wilson in for dental scaling. He unfortunately is prone to dental issues, so he required the surgery. I walked away paying a bill that is relative to a surgery. I was also recommended tests for my cat’s safety – which I agreed to as a precaution. At the end of the day, I am seeing comments about this clinic being money-driven – this has never been my experience here. Pet ownership requires a range of responsibilities, one of them being a monetary responsibility that can add up over time. It upsets me to read these negative reviews about this clinic, because I truly trust them wholeheartedly with the health and well-being of my pet.

People who are angry to spend money on the care and health of their pets need to not have pets in the first place. Pets and money should never be mentioned together!! This vet is terrific.

Very bad customer service. Veterinarian was rude and looked angry. It even seemed as though he was talking down to the receptionist. I decided to just leave with my puppy. I've been to other clinics and the experiences were always pleasant even if the reasons I had to come in for were not. I would advise him to work on his social skills even if he is having a bad day because customers will quickly loose confidence. I would not recommend this clinic.

I've been to this vet since I adopted a cat from the street that I was feeding in my backyard. Marcel Banon and his staff are wonderful! It's the first time I feel that a vet cares about my animal and less about my money. They are always available to answer
my questions and are extremely
helpful in helping me take care of my cat (especially on a preventative level which means I save money). My cat almost needed an operation because he couldn't pee. They told me to try a certain food and taught me how to feed it to my Senfou! A week later he was fine and his flow started to normalize.
Whenever I'm at the clinic they make me feel welcome, they offer me a delicious coffee; there's a real feeling of being part of the community when I'm there!
Also, I've seen them help people in all sorts of different financial situations; the animal's well-being being the most important thing.
I made the decision to write a review because when I was last there, there was a guy that came in for some pills for his pet without a prescription and he was extremely rude to the staff, acted entitled, and impatient ( he wouldn't wait two minutes for the vet to leave his existing appointment to sign off on the pills) He threatened to write a review (which he did and gave the clinic 1 and gave the clinic 1 ) and stormed off. I was sitting quietly in the corner trying to enjoy the coffee that Lindsay (a member of the staff that this guy unfairly screamed and spoke disrespectfully to). She handled it like a champ maintaining her composure and Her smile. I commended her for not engaging in an argument with this guy.
Anyway, I strongly recommend that you stroll in one day, anytime and you'll see what I mean; they're wonderful and my cat likes them too.

Horrible customer service. I called to order pills for my dog. They were not ready when I arrived. Staff was not empathetic at all. In fact they told me to wait and sit. When I asked as to why the pills are not ready they said (in a very arrogant tone): well we told you on the phone that we would call you when ready. They did not call, I rushed from work and was essentially told to wait until the pills were ready. I told them to keep their pills and I ended up going to my regular vet. Did all this to save time but it actually took 3 times longer. I will not go back to that clinic. Moreover I'm glad to read that others share my opinion about the horrible customer service.

Horrible customer service. I called to order pills for my dog. They were not ready when I arrived. Staff was not empathetic at all. In fact they told me to wait and sit. I am so pleased with not only Dr. Banon but also his amazing staff. Dr. Banon has been treating my senior dog for several years now and his expertise has been invaluable to me. Every time there has been an issue with my dog, Dr. Banon has explained the situation to me in very easy-to-understand terms and treatment has always resulted in my dog going back to his old self. He clearly loves the animals so much, and I've built a relationship with Dr. Banon and his staff to the point where I consider them to be like family! I won't go anywhere else. This place is the best!!

I cannot express how much I love, appreciate, and trust Dr. Banon and his entire team. Dr. Banon has treated both of my pets, and even did us the honour of helping our beautiful osteosarcoma afflicted gsd cross the rainbow bridge peacefully and with dignity.
He is knowledgeable and provides advice and compliments about his patients in equal and ample measure. Despite what some reviewers say, I have never found him to be arrogant or anything other than friendly, good natured, and eager to help his patients.
Frankly, every single day, vets see people being, well, people. Je ne recommande pas du tout cette clinique. Nous sommes allé le 2 janvier pour une coupe de griffe car notre clinique principal était fermé. C'était la 2 ou 3e fois que nous y allons. Voici le résultat sur la photo. Il peut arriver que les chiens saignent après leur coupe mais pas autant que ça. Cette une clinique sans coeur et dispendieuse pour rien. Le staff montrait AUCUN signe d’empathie. Pire service à la clientèle. J'étais en panique à mon retour et n'a jamais tenter de me rassurer. Pour eux c'était une situation très normale. I have been bringing my cat Wilson here for 5 years. In all this time, I have never been disappointed and can confidently say that Dr. Banon and Dr. Desjardins are both passionate about the health of their patients. She handled it like a champ maintaining her composure and Her smile. I commended her for not engaging in an argument with this guy.
Anyway, I strongly recommend that you stroll in one day, anytime and you'll see what I mean; they're wonderful and my cat likes them too.

Horrible customer service. I called to order pills for my dog. They were not ready when I arrived. Staff was not empathetic at all. In fact they told me to wait and sit. When I asked as to why the pills are not ready they said (in a very arrogant tone): well we told you on the phone that we would call you when ready. They did not call, I rushed from work and was essentially told to wait until the pills were ready. I told them to keep their pills and I ended up going to my regular vet. Did all this to save time but it actually took 3 times longer. I will not go back to that clinic. Moreover I'm glad to read that others share my opinion about the horrible customer service.

I am so pleased with not only Dr. Banon but also his amazing staff. Dr. Banon has been treating my senior dog for several years now and his expertise has been invaluable to me. Every time there has been an issue with my dog, Dr. Banon has explained the situation to me in very easy-to-understand terms and treatment has always resulted in my dog going back to his old self. He clearly loves the animals so much, and I've built a relationship with Dr. Banon and his staff to the point where I consider them to be like family! I won't go anywhere else. This place is the best!!
