I can't say enough good things about my experience with Hopital Veterinaire Journet. When I noticed that my old lady cat was acting strangely, I packed her and my toddler up and hoofed it over to Journet. The completely bilingual counter staff was kind and courteous, and within 10 minutes we were in an exam room with Dr. Fatihi, who gave Lydia the Kittia a complete look-over. He ran some tests (some in-office, some sent out to the lab), and gave me a thorough explanation of the situation and our options. We went home with some medicine and a big free bag of cat chow, awaiting a call back on test results the next day. For an exam, an ultrasound, urinalysis, blood test, some canned food, some painkillers, and the big bag of cat food, we only paid $260. I was expecting about double, and was grateful it was so affordable. We were heading out of town to visit family over Easter weekend, so I asked at Journet if they did boarding or knew of cat-sitters who could come and feed Lydia her antibiotics twice daily. Dan, at the front desk, said, "oh, you live really close. I can do it." And he did. For free. And even left some extra cans of food and a cat toy for Lydz. That's just incredible. That doesn't happen. But it did at Journet. It's a great clinic, with great facilities, great stock for sale in their boutique, great prices for veterinary services (with an effort not to push the more expensive option, but to give you informed choices), and great staff.
