Dre Daniella Teoli took excellent care of my cat Frank on the worst day of my life. She was very compassionate. She stayed up all night with my cat. She puts her heart and soul into the work she does....

I took my cat there urgently one night and they were great. Fitted her in for surgery the next day and all went well.

This hospital is the worst hospital in Quebec. Not only did they kill my dog but they didn't even take responsibility for the many mistakes they had taken which lead to my pup dying at less than a yea...
This hospital is the worst hospital in Quebec. Not only did they kill my dog but they didn't even take responsibility for the many mistakes they had taken which lead to my pup dying at less than a year old.
I rushed to HVV with my dog half dead after a seizure, telling Dr. Adrian Haringlavean that I believed that my pup was dying and asked to get a blood test done. Dr. Adrian Haringlavean was rather smitten with the dog and completely missed the gravity of the situation. He sent us home telling us the dog was fine only for him to die hours after.
The Hospital charged us an absorbent amount of money for blood test results which would only come back 3 days after. After the had taken our money I insisted that they expedite the blood test results seeing it is an emergency and we needed to know instantly what was going on. The hospital FORGOT to call me back and when I called back I was told that the vet had left and that if I wanted to expedite the test results I would have to pay $20 extra... money wasn't an issue...
When I contacted Dr. Adrian Haringlavean to inform him that our dog had died he told me: "you should not have come here as this is not an emergency centre, we are the neighbourhood's clinic." Unfortunately, this is NOT what they claim on their website. The state they offer emergency services.
Dr. Christine Carle showed no sympathy or remorse whatsoever, rather, when I tried calling her, she asked me to deal with the insurance and lawyers directly. Where is her humanity?
The sad thing is that his breeder over Facebook messenger diagnosed what had happened before I rushed him to Hopital Vetrinaire Victoria. My pup died from pneumonia... a simple x-ray would have saved his life.

Giving it two stars because they were on time and the receptionist was nice. Bad bad bad
Edit : I've been reviews here and most seem fake with : great Clinique, great service! So generic so fake. And then you get reviews from local guides giving it all 5 stars...it's a vet not a place to visit as a tourist, this place can't even be legit on the reviews because everyone hates it there. Try to find one 5 star visit that goes more into detail then just : wow incredible would come again! Just bad all around

I have been going there for over 6 years. The secretary and technicians are really friendly. Unfortunately I found with the years the actual veterinarian have seemed to lost their passion for the job....
I have been going there for over 6 years. The secretary and technicians are really friendly. Unfortunately I found with the years the actual veterinarian have seemed to lost their passion for the job. Also the pricing went up. Before during a regular visit they wouldn't charge me for cutting my dogs nails now it's a extra 16$ and I have 2 dogs so 32 bucks is crazy. I'm just really disappointed more than anything else.

We visited the hospital with my dog for the consultation about her condition and the doctor offered us to make a blood test, which costs more than 200 $. We agreed. Then we spent about 1.5 hours wait...
We visited the hospital with my dog for the consultation about her condition and the doctor offered us to make a blood test, which costs more than 200 $. We agreed. Then we spent about 1.5 hours waiting for our dog because they tried to make the test. The dog screeched a lot, usually she was normal with tests. They pricked her legs, neck and she was there for 1.5 hour ( the dog is less then 4 pounds). During all the time they told us that everything was fine and that it was already done. I was so nervous and angry but I can't have done anything. Finally the doctor told us they can't do anything, they didn't make the tests.The dog and we were totally shocked with such unprofessional behavior. Finally we have no diagnoses,no blood tests and we had to pay for the visit. Never again.

I am outraged! Doctor Haringlavean examined my dog twice and made me panic by telling that she probably has cardiac problems, that she will need medication and that i should do all the tests. He told me that he could hear her heart making an abnormal sound and that it could be very dangerous. I agreed to to the tests of course. I had a bill of 470$ and the results showed that everything was normal. No doubt they have such a nice clinic, ripping off customers like that.

My cat had a urinary blockage over Labour Day weekend. His regular vet wasn't open so I could either take him to the DMV 24hr clinic in Lachine (too far, I thought) or here. I had trouble communicatin...
My cat had a urinary blockage over Labour Day weekend. His regular vet wasn't open so I could either take him to the DMV 24hr clinic in Lachine (too far, I thought) or here. I had trouble communicating with the vet, who, like me, spoke so-so French, but hardly any English. I felt this was misleading because over the phone they give the impression that they're a fully bilingual business. The vet correctly diagnosed my cat and wanted to proceed with a lot of surgery; he was vague about what the cost would be. Eventually he printed out an estimate for $2700. I asked him if that's what it would cost but he said it would probably be even more. I decided that as soon as my cat's life wasn't in immediate danger I would get him out of there. They kept him for three days on a catheter, did X-rays and blood and urine tests, monitored him, no surgery. They did what I hired them to do. The bill was $1300. When I took him to my regular vet they operated on him, removed his bladder stones, did more X-rays and even a dental extraction, all for $1200. For Hopital Veterinaire Victoria, I can see how it pays to stay open late and on Sundays when most vets are closed. Going in back I saw techs in shorts and baseball caps instead of scrubs, the place was less clean than other vets I've seen.... I would only recommend going here as a last resort in an emergency.

I took my cat in for shots, the vet instilled fear into me pushing more vaccines then I came in for. I went home and did the research for the ones she pushed and successfully injected. I found out the risks that she did not mention, and was horrified. I don't understand why vets push more than necessary instead of caring for the actual animal. The system to me seems corrupt and I no longer feel safe or secure bringing my animal in for attention as vets often prey on the vulnerability of an owners love for their animal companions.

So my cat had a infection on his tail. They games him a bunch of meds without really analyzing blood or anything. It was all guess work. After 3 visits, they ended just telling me that they need to operate on him to find out what was wrong for around 700$...I wasn't convinced so I went to a dermatologist that specializes in these kind of skin conditions and actually used a microscope and found out what was wrong with him. Stay away from this place, go somewhere that you have to pay a bit more upfront, but you won't have to go 3-4 visits and you will ending up spending way more.

I just bought my first puppy a week ago and decided to open a file with this vet hospital by recommendation. The staff is very courteous and friendly and the veterinarian is knowledgeable and took the time to explain things to me.This veterinarian hospital also has a boarding facility, an on-site grooming, and has a dog trainer. Bonus: because my puppy and I were new clients, we got a free voucher for 20 minutes of dog training and a free bath (with nail trimming and ear washing)!

I had trouble communicating with the vet, who, like me, spoke so-so French, but hardly any English. I felt this was misleading because over the phone they give the impression that they're a fully bilingual business. The vet correctly diagnosed my cat and wanted to proceed with a lot of surgery; he was vague about what the cost would be. Eventually he printed out an estimate for $2700. I asked him if that's what it would cost but he said it would probably be even more. I decided that as soon as my cat's life wasn't in immediate danger I would get him out of there. They kept him for three days on a catheter, did X-rays and blood and urine tests, monitored him, no surgery. They did what I hired them to do. The bill was $1300. When I took him to my regular vet they operated on him, removed his bladder stones, did more X-rays and even a dental extraction, all for $1200. For Hopital Veterinaire Victoria, I can see how it pays to stay open late and on Sundays when most vets are closed. Going in back I saw techs in shorts and baseball caps instead of scrubs, the place was less clean than other vets I've seen.... I would only recommend going here as a last resort in an emergency.

I took my cat in for shots, the vet instilled fear into me pushing more vaccines then I came in for. I went home and did the research for the ones she pushed and successfully injected. I found out the risks that she did not mention, and was horrified. I don't understand why vets push more than necessary instead of caring for the actual animal. The system to me seems corrupt and I no longer feel safe or secure bringing my animal in for attention as vets often prey on the vulnerability of an owners love for their animal companions.

So my cat had a infection on his tail. They games him a bunch of meds without really analyzing blood or anything. It was all guess work. After 3 visits, they ended just telling me that they need to operate on him to find out what was wrong for around 700$...I wasn't convinced so I went to a dermatologist that specializes in these kind of skin conditions and actually used a microscope and found out what was wrong with him. Stay away from this place, go somewhere that you have to pay a bit more upfront, but you won't have to go 3-4 visits and you will ending up spending way more.

People are rude and it's over priced. Got a different vet every time I went, wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Do yourself a favor and keep looking

I just bought my first puppy a week ago and decided to open a file with this vet hospital by recommendation. The staff is very courteous and friendly and the veterinarian is knowledgeable and took the time to explain things to me.This veterinarian hospital also has a boarding facility, an on-site grooming, and has a dog trainer. Bonus: because my puppy and I were new clients, we got a free voucher for 20 minutes of dog training and a free bath (with nail trimming and ear washing)!
