Highly recommended! We were customers at the previous practice and stayed on when Steve and Sarah took over. No regrets, what a kind a caring service the whole team have provided for all our pets. Our cat Biggles had a life saving operation expertly performed by Steve and he is still in fine fettle at the ripe old age of 14. Steve recently came out to the house for our final farewell to our lovely old dog Otis and we felt very grateful that he did, as it was a gentle and good farewell on his favourite spot in the garden. Thanks for your kindness at a difficult time. Read Less

Our beautiful Shar Pei puppy Dotty Bear was accidentally run over today (Friday). I rushed her to our vets, Hayle Vetenary Surgery for emergency assistance... Instead of "assistace" I re discovered the original reasons why we chose this practice. I rushed in with Dotty Bear. all 20kilos of her in my arms, crying Help Her! I didn't have to wait a second before a staff member swooped her safely from my arms and in a moment had a team helping my poor baby. Although Dotty Bears treatment was nothing short of exemplary, the treatment and compassion I was given was Heartfelt. I was given pupdates regularly and was treated so well, the entire experience was truly humbling though emotional. Dotty Bear, although poorly is back at home and safe. The Vet on duty today said "she was lucky"... We think, we are also the lucky ones to have you guys, your TEAM looking after our four legged babies. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Boxes of Thank You Chocolates on the way and a rather sore Lick Lick from Dotty Bear. Well Done to a Great Practice and Team XXXRead Less

Very cross. We have 6 cats who are all rescued. They are all usually well looked after by the practice. A couple of them have complex needs. Our star is one eyed Fred . We rescued him from a caravan park and he is so scared of people that in the 3 years of captivity with us he has never allowed us to touch him. He has only ever been seen twice by the vet having been sneakily trapped by us. Fred is a dear chap who has found a chum in one of our other rescue cats. Fred needs an eye operation: Nan and Sue spent 2 hours trying to catch him and the poor guy was so stressed that we had to call it off. We insure the other 5 monthly through the practice but because he can't be checked or inoculated we have agreed with the practice that we will have him treated on an ad hoc basis. We have a constant battle with fleas. One of our other cats has an allergy and has to have tablets. As we can't get near Fred he too needs a pill. So today my wife went in to pick something else up and asked for some flea pills for Fred. To her surprise the receptionist refused because he had not seen a vet since early 2014. Sue explained the situation and the answer was still no. How ridiculous is that. Fred has fleas and the surgery won't help. Not the sort of service which we are used to because people like Claire are so helpful but she wasn't serving today.Read Less
